Ms. E. G. Adensam, Chief Licensing Branch No. 4 Re: McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370 Request for Relief from ASME Code Section XI Requirement Determined to be Impractical
Dear Mr. Denton:
My March 11, 1983 letter submitted a request for relief from hydrostatic testing requirements on the Feedwater Systems to the Units One and Two steam generators.
The proposed reliefs were considered to be a Class III amendment pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22, and subsequently, on April 14, 1983 Duke Power Company remitted a check in the amount of $4,000 which had been inadvertently omitted from the submittal. However, Ms. Reba M. Diggs' (NRC/0A) letter of May 11, 1983 indicated that while the Class III fee is appropriate for one of the units, since the request related to Units Nos. 1 and 2 an additional Class I fee was also applicable to the request. Therefore, enclosed is a check in the amount of $400.
Very truly yours, 1 B. Tucker PBN:j fw Enclosure cc:
