Will refueling or resumption of operation thereafter require a technical specification change or other license amendment?
Resumption of operation after refueling will require changes to Technical Specifications. The changes will be such as to allow operation of the plant with a fresh reload batch and reshuffled core.

SUMMARY
OF UNIT 1 OPERATING EXPERIENCE APRIL 1983 4/1 At the beginning of this reporting period Unit I was operating at 735 MWe with the reactor at 80% power while cleaning main condenser water boxes. Resumed full load operation (910 MWe) at 0300.
4/5 Decreased load to 775 MWe at 1300 to clean 13A waterbox. Load was increased to capacity (910 MWe) at 1800.
4/7 At 2145 load was reduced to 800 MWe to investigate saltwater leakage into the main condenser. Load was increased to 910 MWe at 0345 when indications of saltwater leakage disappeared.
4/9 Decreased load to 790 MWe at 0830 for main turbine control valve testing and main condenser waterbox cleaning. Resumed full load operation (910 MWe) at 1810.
4/23 The unit was taken off the line at 0152 and the reactor shutdown at 0245 to repair a cracked weld on llA Reactor Coo; ant Pump controlled bleed-off line.
4/27 The reactor was brought critical at 2350.
4/28 The unit was paralleled at 0623.
4/29 Load was increased to capacity (910 MWe) at 0200.
l 4/30 At the end of this reporting period Unit I was operating at 910 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.

SUMMARY
OF UNIT 2 OPERATING EXPERIENCE APRIL 1983 4/1 At the beginning of this reporting period Unit 2 was operating at 900 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.
4/3 Decreased load to 745 MWe at 0200 for main turbine control valve testing and main condenser waterbox cleaning. Load was increased to capacity (900 MWe) at 0600.
4/11 At 2300 load was decreased to 790 MWe to repair a leak in 25A feedwater heater drain line.
4/12 Resumed full load operation (895 MWe) at 1030.
4/16 Decreased load to 730 MWe at 0555 for main turbine control valve testing and maintenance on the Amertap system. Load was increased to 800 MWe at 0900.
Load was increased to capacity (900 MWe) at 1500.
4/30 At the end of this reporting period Unit 2 was operating at 890 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.
