Southwood, Park Manager Warren Dunes State Park RR #1, Red Arrow Highway Sawyer, MI 49125 Dear Mr. Southwood In my Dece.ser 6, 1982, letter I stated that we would provide you with the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FE'4A) evaluation and recorn'en-dation and our recommended course of action to the D.C. Cook plant for resolution of the potential deficiency in the prompt notification system.
This deficiency pertains to the notification of Warren Dunes State Park visitors of an emergency at the plant.
Enclosed is a copy of the FEMA evaluation of the prompt notification system proposed for Warren Dunes State Park. This evaluation states that the proposed system will be adequate to warn essentially 100 percent of the It also indicates that a time-people within the Warren Dunes Park area.
