SUMMARY
OF OPERATIONS

APRIL, 1983 I
During the month of April there was one unit shutdown on April 13, 1983, for performance of the turbine overspeed trip test followed by a scheduled maintenance outage. Whsn the main steam isolation valves were closed, fol-1 IcVing the unit shutdown on April 13,1983, the 1A and IB steam generator atmospheric relief valves failed to open. As a result, the IB steam gen-erator #1 safety valve lifted, and following a decrease in pressure, the safety valve returned to the closed position.
The following safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of l
April:
1.
Performed miscellaneous maintenance on diesel generators.
2.
Repaired flange leak on code safety valves Q1N11V012D and Q1N11V010D.

Repacked #4 and #8 River Water Pumps.
4.
Repaired RCDT discharge valve Q1E21V375.
5.
Repaired IB hydrogen inlet isolation valve Q1G22V057B.
