DOCKET No: 50-369 UNIT: McGuire 1 DATE: 5-13-83 NARRATIVE SIDDIARY Month: April, 1983 McGuire Unit I remained shutdown the month of April. The critical path job varied through the period.

Fuel loading following the inspection of the vessel internals for a missing thermal sleeve, eddy current testing, residual heat removal system hanger repairs, integrated leak rate testing, reactor coolant pump seal replacement, primary fill and vent, steam generator blowdown valve repairs, and normal heatup all were critical path work for portions of the month.

Personnel Exposure For the month of March, 39 individuals exceeded 10 percent of their allowable annual radiation dose limit with the highest dose being 2.030 rem, which represents approximately 16.9%.of that person's allowable annual limit.

The total station liquid release contribution to whole body dose for March has been compared with the Technical Specifications annual value of 3 mrem; the total release for March was less than 10 percent.
