e ATTACHMENT Since the previous interim report in October, 1982, the following activities have been accomplished:

1. The NCR's pertaining to the Fuel Handling Building (FHB) roof trusses have been processed as follows:

3 NCR's for FHB Unit 2 dispositioned by Brown & Root (B&R) were reviewed by Bechtel Energy Corporation (BEC) and found acceptable pending review of B&R Field Engineering calculations which were used as basis for the dispositions. Repair work per the B&R dispositions has been completed.

4 NCR's for FHB Unit 2 left open by B&R have been dispositioned by BEC. The dispositions prescribe repair for approximately 5% and "use-as-is" for approximately 95% of the findings, and the dispositions have been released for Construction to implement.

13 NCR's for FHB Unit 1 (erected roof trusses) left open by B&R are being reviewed by BEC.

It has been determined that all of the American Bridge NCR's pertaining to the FHB roof trusses are unique and not applicable for incorporation into the statistical data base described in our fifth interim report.

2. 1102 NCR's pertaining to beam connections in Units 1 & 2 Reactor Containment Building (RCB), Mechanical Electrical Auxiliary Building (MEAB) and FHB, initiated by B&R are being processed by BEC to develop a statistical data base.

1050 NCR's were dispositioned by B&R and will be reviewed by BEC.

52 NCR's were left open by B&R, out of which 20 have been subsequently dispositioned by Ebasco. BEC will review all of these NCR's, including the Ebasco dispositions.

3. As concrete placement proceeds some of the welded connections could become inaccessible. The NCR's for these connections have been identified for disposition through reinspection and repair, as appropriate, prior to concrete placement.
