Dear Sir:

On March 31, 1983, Florida Power Corporation (FPC) committed to submit a bounding analytical assessment of NUREG-0630 on LOCA and operating linear heat rate (kw/ft) limits. That assessment, B&W Document No. 7-1140899-01, is attached.

FPC is participating in a B&W Owners Group effort to provide compensating models for the attached assessment. We will submit the results of that work when it is completed.
