SUBJECT: DOCKET N0. 50-395/83-13

This refers to the special safeguards inspection conducted by several membbrs
of my safeguards staff of activities authorized by NRC License No. NFP-12 and
to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. W. Tobin of this office on
April 6,1983, with Mr. W. A. Williams, General Manager, Nuclear Operations,
at the conclusion of the inspection.
We have reviewed your efforts to revalidate pre-employment screening records
furnished to you by your security contractor. Our inspection, which commenced
on September 3, 1982, has been conducted at both your Corporate Offices and
the local office of your security contractor.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were
disclosed.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by
10 CFR 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by
Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Therefore, the
material, with the exception of the report cover page which is an inspection
summary, will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
