e The 1983 Yankee Nuclear Power Station Emergency 1
Plan Exercise (" EOF-out") Objectives i
1.
Demonstrate that the new " EOF-Out" Yankee exercise concept represents an improvement in the test of State and local emergency response plans.
2.
Demonstrate the performance of emergency duties associated with the coordination and interf ace of plant response with off-site governmental agency response.
3.
Demonstrate that the EOF can assess the off-site radiological impacts of the accident and make appropriate protective action recommendations to the State decision makers.
4.
Test and evaluate the ability of field sample teams to conduct off site radiological surveys, transmit results, and assess information received.
5.
Test and evaluate Yankee's dose projection capability, both initially and long term.
6.
Activate the Media Center.
7.
Test and evaluate Yankee's capability to transfer emergency response functions from the primary EOF to the alternate EOF.
