SUBJECT:
NUCLEAR ENERGY LIABILITY POLICY FOR FACILITIES The proposed Regulatory Guide on the subject topic was reviewed by the CRGR on August 11, 1982.
The Ccmmittee made recommendations to me -
regarding this matter in the mem~orandum from V. Stello dated August 30, 1982 (enclosed).
Please prepare both.the Regulatory Guide and the related proposed rule modification in final form, in a paper that calls the Commission's attention to the potential for protracted licensing hearings that could result from the deletion of Appendix A to the current 10 CFR Part 140.
