The public meeting has been scheduled on January 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Management Directive 8.11 Section III.F specifies that the meeting is an opportunity for the petitioner to clarify or supplement the petition. In preparing for the meeting with the Petition Review Board (PRB), petitioners should note that:

a. This public meeting is not a hearing, nor is it an opportunity for the petitioner or other members of the public to question or examine the PRB on the merits or the issues presented in the petition request. The petitioner will have 35 minutes for their presentation.
b. The NRC staff in attendance may ask clarifying questions in order to better understand the petitioner's presentation and to reach a reasoned decision on whether or not to accept the petitioner's requests for review under the 2.206 process.
c. No decisions regarding the merits of this petition will be made at this meeting.
d. The meeting will be transcribed and the transcript will be made publicly available.
e. No sensitive or proprietary information should be presented.
f. Following this meeting, the PRB will consider the supplemental information presented during the meeting together with the original petition in making its final recommendation on whether to accept the petition for review. The petitioner will be informed of the final recommendation.
