This case involves Toledo Edison's Davie=Besse Nuclear Power station, located in the Fifth Congreesional District.
Inc. has brought Mr. Chuck Domeck of MAFA International,l.ng MAFA's this matter to my attention.
NRC is cha11ong leak-testing proceduros, following a series of allegations and plant inspections last year.
One source og contusion has been the topical report on
!!ATA's leak-testing technology.
7pparently, NRC used an earlier version of the topical report in its assessment of MAFA, complicating and delaying that assessment.
A understand that NATA is in the process of revising its topical report, as you have requested.
I would like to request that you review t'r. air resubmitted report exped.iently, so that this issue can be resolved for Toledo Edison and its custonefp. '
