In a letter date.d February 9. 1990, you requested that we review and approve proposed changes to the Emergency Action Levels (EALs) for the Fermi-2 Radiological Emergency Response Preparedness Plan. We have discussed l
with NRC Headquarters, the review of your proposed changes along with similar changes proposed by other licensees. It was determined that this issue should l
be reviewed generically, rather than on a plant specific basis. Therefore.
because of the generic implications of your proposed changes, we have forwarded your request to Headquarters for resolution.- The justification that you present in your letter, as well as those in similar requests from other licensees, will be considered during the review. The current effort by l
NUMARC in the development of Faergency Action Levels will also be considered in resolving this matter.
