SAFETY EVALUATION OF THE INSERVICE INSPECTION PROGRAM PLAN FOR THE FIRST TEN YEAR INTERVAL, SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT,-UNIT:1 (TACNO.-67424) 'By letter dated February 22, 1988, HoustonLighting&~PowerCompany-(HL&P) submitted the Inservice Inspection (ISI) Program Plan for the first 10_ year-interval. In addition, on May 11, 1989,'HL&P submitted two requests for. relief from ASME Section XI ISI requirements. We have completed our review of the-ISI plan and the two relief requests, and conclude that they constitute the basis for compliance with 10 CFR 50.55a(g) and Technical Specificbtion 4.0.5_for Unit 1.
