References (b). (c) and (d) represent correspondence concerning areas for improvement identified during the requalification examinations administered on June 20-30, 1989. Subsequent to our letter of October 27.
'1989 and resulting fros discussions with Mr. Larry Briggs, team leader for our recent Emergency Operating Procedure Inspection (50-29/89-80). we have modified our schedule for improving the quality of our operating procedures.
1.
By February 28. 1990, we will revise those operating procedures referenced by the Emergency Operating Procedures plus all abnormal operating procedures. The basis for this revision will be technical accuracy and operator walkdown reviews.
2.
For the 1990 refueling outage the primary plant cooldown. heat-up and power operations procedures will be revised prior to use.
3.
During the following operating cycle. the entire operating procedure set will the subject of a major review and revision process for technical accuracy. operator walkdowns. re-indexing and a procedure generation package.
