SUMMARY
Month: November 1989-i g};c Catawba Unit 1 began the month of November operating at 100% full power. On e ' N4 11/22 at 1400,-the unit reduced power to 47% power due to the "1B" chemical - and volume control pump being inoperable. At 0014 on 11/23, the unit was taken off-line to repair the "1B" chemical and volume control pump. At 1400 4 on 11/28,-unit startup was delayed due to the failure of-an Excore-Detector. . SUMMARY
Month: November 1989 Catawba Unit 2 began the month of November operating at 98% power due to "2C" steam generator feedwater regulating valve demand positioning. At 1455 on 11/04, the unit began a power reduction to 15% power to repair steam generator i "2A" Feedwater Control Valve. After holding power for 6 hours, at 1400 on l 11/05 due to dispatcher request and shift turnover, the unit began a power increase at 2105 on 11/05, and reached 98% power at 1100 on 11/06.
