8 Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414
Dear Mr. Denton:
Your letters of October 15, October.22, October 30, November 4 and November 12, 1981 transmitted approximately 452 requests for additional infomation which resulted from the review of the Catawba FSAR and ER-OLS. These letters re-quested that responses be provided by various dates during December 1981.
In view of the number and complexity of requests for additional infomation, Duke has concluded that the requested schedule does not provide adequate time for the preparation of responses.
Therefore, in order to provide fully adequate responses and to minimize the number of outstanding items in the draft Safety Evaluation Report, responses to ER-OLS questions will be provided by December 16, 1981 and respor.ses to FSAR questions will be provided by January 15, 1982.
Very truly yours, T L o.P h p n y William 0. Parker, Jr.
