Docket No. 50-361 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 2 This letter confirms verbal notification on Sep-tember 15, 1981, of a condition discovered in construction which is considered reportable in accordance with 10CFR-50.55 (e).
This condition involves the use of an incorrect welding procedure during welding operations on the reactor vessel vent system.
We are performing cn evaluation of this condition and will submit a report in accordance with 10CFR50.55(e)(3).
