! ~l' C JHolonich According to our schedule for the Byron safety review, we need to produce a draft Safety Evaluation Report by early November 1981 in order to complete the final SER by February 7,1982 with a minimum of open items. To support this schedule, we need your complete responses to all outstanding questions in a prompt manner. Enclosed is a list of outstanding questions as of the lith of September. We need your responses before October 10, 1981 in order for the staff to have time to review.
In addition, the responses to the SEB questions, 130.18 - 53, which are scheduled to be sent in by September 8, 1981, are needed immediately.
If you are unable to meet these dates, please indicate, within seven days of receipt of this letter, when you plan to submit the responses.
