This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. D. P. Tomlinson of our
staff during the period August 10-14, 1981, of activities auhrized by

NRC Construction Pemit CPPR-103 for Waterford Steam Electric Station,
Unit 3, and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. L. L. Bass and
other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the
enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted

of selective examination of pocedures and representative records, inter-

views with personnel, and observations by the inspector,

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
