-p DOCKET N0f. 50-266 AND 50-301 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IE BULLETIN NO. 80-11, MASONRY WALLS POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 On June 9-11, 1981, members of your Staff met with Wisconsin Electric and our consultants at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant to conduct an on-site review and audit of our responses to IE Bulletin No. 80-11.
Discussions were held during this meeting to resolve differences between the NRC Staff's design criteria and the criteria used by Wisconsin Electric in evaluating the Point Beach masonry walls. The result of these dis-cussions was the formation of 21 action items which, when complete, would resolve the NRC's concerns regarding the analysis of masonry walls at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
These action items were formally transmitted to us with Mr. Colburn's summary of meeting minutes dated July 1,1981.
A number of these action items requested that information be provided to your Staff by September 15, 1981.
The enclosures to this letter provide our responses to action items 5, 7, 9,11, and 16 of Mr. Colburn's summary. Mr. Colburn was informed by telephone on Septe.@er 8 that the responses to action items 1, 4, and 6 could not be complete for submittal with this letter.
The responses to these action items should be completed by October 1,1981 and will be submitted to fool you at that time.
