1 This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted _by Mr. W. J. Slawinski i
of this office on August 26, 1981, of activities at Detroit Outpatient Nuclear Clinic authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 21-17011-01 and to the discussion of our findings with David Williams and Doug Moore at the conclusion of the inspection and to the telephone conversation with Ray Carlson on August 31,1981.
f The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspec-4 tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements,-and interviews with personnel.

During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requirements, as specified in enclosed Appendix A'.
