Region III Attention:
Mr. Leonard McGregor Reportable Finding Per '"echnical Specification 6.9.1.8.i The analysis of concrete masonry block walls required by NRC IE Bulletin 80-11 determined that during a seismic event, the wall to floor connection for wall 1068 and the top connection of walls 3016 and 3036 could become overstressed.
Additionally, wall 3026 which is edge supported by walls 3016 and 3036 could be affected 11 ws'.is 3016 and 3026 became unstable.
Wall 1068 is r shield wall separating Radioactive Equipment Storage Room #106 from Sampling Hood Room #106A, Elevation 545. Walls 3016, 3026, and 3036 separate passage 322 from Switch Room 324 Elevation 585. Under normal plant operating con-ditions, the wall connections have stresses within allowable limits.
This design is less conservative than assumed in the FSAR and is being reported under Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.i.
