Docket 50-305 Operating License DPR-43 IE Bulletin 81-02 Supplement 1; Failure of Gate Type Valves to Close Against Differential Pressure In accordance with the requirement of IE Bulletin 81-02 Supplement 1, Failure of Gate Type Valves to Close Against Differential Pressure, an investigation was undertaken to determine whether this type valve was in any safety-related system or component in the Kewaunee Plant. Results of the investigation re-vealed that the Kewaunee Plant has no Westinghouse Electro-Mechanical Division (W - EMD) motor operated gate valves other than those reported in response to IE Bulletin 81-02.
Therefore,Bulletin 81-02 Supplement 1 is not applicable for our facility.
The review effort and associated documentation for this bulletin required approximately 10 manhours.
