This refers to the routine safety incpection conducted by Dr. L. W. Shatterly of this office on August 27, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 24-17561-01 and to the discussion of our findings with you and Mr. Jerry L. Harris of your stiff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
In addition to the above areas, the inspector examined actions described in your letter dated October 18, 1978, regarding corrective action taken on apparent items of noncompliance found during our September,1978 inspection of License No. 24-17561-01. We have no further questions regarding these matters.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NBC :equirements, as specified in enclosed Appendix A.
A wricten response, submitted under oath or affirniation, is required.
