ASLAB Ar.enduent No. 70 to Facility Operating License !!o. DPR-50 for Three !111e Island NbJ 3r Station, Unit No.1 (T!11-1) was issued by the Comission on July 29, ;931. This anendment does not reflect changes in the Tech-nical Specifications resulting from /nendrent No. 68 which was issued on July 20, 1981. The affected Technical S.necification sections are 4.1.1 (page 4-7), 4.5.1.1 (pages 4-39 and 4-40) and 4.6.1.b (page 4-46).
trendment !!o. 63 had changed these pages to rt. quire certain tests of the energency diesel generators be perfomed prior to Cycle 5 criticality.
In addition, Technical Specification page 4-45 (Section 4.6.1.b) did not explicitly state the frequency interval for conducting the automatic start and loading of the energency diesel generators. This section s:muld have included the requirenent that this test be conducted every refueling interval on each diesel generator. This requirerent existed in the Tech-nical Specifications prior to issuance of Amendrunt No. 70 and was in-advertently coitted.
The above changes in no way affect the conclusions of the Safety Evalua-tions associated with Amndronts fios. 68 and 70 You are requested to replace pages 4-7, 4-30, 4-40 and 4-45 with the enclosed pages. We regret any inconvenience which this may have caus
