gg Attached is the McGuire Nuclear Station procedure AP/1/A/5500/36, " Venting of Non-Condensible Cases from the Reactor Vessel Head." This procedure is being sul.mitted pursuant to McGuire Operating License, NPF-9, Condition c.(ll)i.
to provide "information on procedures and testing including measures to pre-clude inadvertent operation."
Testing of the valves is accomplished by operation of the valves during the pre-startup venting of the Reactor Coolaat System. Covers are placed over the switches for the valves to preclude inadvertent operation of the valves (Note Step 5.8 in the attached proced2re).
