August 25, 1981 NOTE FOR CHAIRftAN PALLADIt10 SUBJECTc PARTICIPANTS IN AUGUST 27 COMMISSION MEETING ON EARLY NOTIFICATION SYSTFv.S Arrangements have been completed for participation by two groups in connection with the August 27 Commission meeting at which in.glementation of early notification systems will be discussed.
The first group to make a 15-minute presentation will consist of Mr. Richard Udell of the Critical Mass Energy Project, 'is. Dorian Yates of the New York Public Interest Group, ar.d Mr. Steven Sholly of the Union of Concerned Scientists.
The second group will be composed of Mr. Robert H. Cunningham, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Boston Edison Company, and Mr. C. O. Woody, Manager, Power Rescurces-Nuclear, Florida Power and Light Company.
A total of 15 minutes also will be provided for this industry group.
It is my understanding that these presentations will be followed by a discussion by the staff of the proposed rule change.
