Use of ASME Code Case N-294 for the Alvin W. Vogtle Nuclear Plant.
Unit Nos. I and 2 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has completed its review of the Georgia Power Company request of February 4,1981, for authorization to use ASME Code Case N-294 on Vogtle Unit Nos.1 and 2.
Code Case N-294, dated August 25, 1980, "SD-148 Alloys 952 and 954, SB-62 Alloy 836 Fittings,Section III, Division 1, Class 2," is an acceptable code case and may be used in the construction of the containment air cooling units for Vogtle Unit Nos.1 and 2.
Use of the code case should be docunented in the FSAR.
