Callaway FSAR Review Questions As we approach the final sta es of preparation of the Safety Evaluation Report for Callaway Unit 1, we find it necessary to determine the status of responses to questions that have been asked in our review of the Callaway FSAR. These include questions transmitted to you by mail with NRC review branches iden-tification numbers, as well as questions discussed at public meetings and documented in meeting sumaries.
We have listed in Enclosures 1 and 2 questions for vhich we have no record of a response, either by letter or by FSAR revision up to and including Revision 5 to the SNUPPS FSAR and Revision 3 to the Callaway FSAR site addendum.
We recognize that you may have responded to a number of these items in recent letters and FSAR revisions. However, to expedite the review proess your assistance is requested in confirming the status of these items.
You are requested to review Enclosures 1 and 2.
If a respcase has been made to any of these questions, please identify a reference (letter and date) for each.
For those questions still requiring a response, please provide a schedule within seven days of your receipt of this letter indicating when you intend to respond, consistent with the SER schedule. With regard to the SER schedule we require satisfactory responses to all questions to be submitted within two weeks in order to meet the SER schedule with no open items remaining.
