SUMMARY

FOR THE REGULATORY AUDIT OF THE NUSCALE POWER, LLC., TOPICAL REPORT TR-0516-49422-P, LOSS-OF-COOLANT ACCIDENT EVALUATION MODEL The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff conducted a three-phase audit started on May 11, 2017, and ending on March 15, 2018, to review the NuScale Power, LLC., Topical Report (TR)- 0516-49422, Loss-of-Coolant Accident Evaluation Model. Phase 1 of the audit included the NRC staffs review of docketed and non-docketed information via the NuScale electronic reading room (ERR), and several weekly audit teleconferences. The Phase 2 audit involved an on-site audit in the NuScale Corvallis offices from July 24, 2017, to July 28, 2017.

The audit continued with Phase 3 that included examination of documents provided by NuScale in the ERR and weekly audit teleconferences to discuss the NRC staffs questions through March 15, 2018.

The enclosed audit summary describes the content of the review, identifies the audit participants, and documents the audit observations.
