Lith respect to the two recent additional contentions adnitted into the proceeding, i.e., EPZ size detemination and earthquake considerations, FEMA testi. cony should be developed expeditiously to remit presentation at the upconing hearing sessions. The l'EC Staff is targeting Septerber /.,1931, as the filing cate for its testinony in these areas. L'c should be in a position to apprise the Coard of our filing dates at the beginnine of next s.eek's session.
The Applicants have requested certification of the Licensing Loard's Ordce of August 7,1931, regarding consideration of earthquakes in connection with energency plenning.
However, to assure that FENA and the fiRC Staff are in a position to proceed on this issue should this avenue of appeal fail, efforts to prepare testirony should ;.roceed, consisten* uith the above filing date.
