This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. P. Reichhold of this office on July 16, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 24-15235-03 and to the telephone conversation concerning our findings with you on July 27, 1981.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
This inspection also included a review of the actions described in your letter dated Decem'>rr 12, 1979, regarding the apparent items of noncompli-ance identified in our November 7-9, 1979 inspection. We have no further questions regarding these matters.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requirements, as specified in enclosed Appendix A.
A written response, submitted under oath or affirmation, is required.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
