SMALL SCALE EXERCISE NORTH ANNA POWER STATION JUNE 6, 1981 Pursuant. to 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, a small scale emergency pre-paredness exercise was held at North Anna Power Station on June 6, 1981.
i 'cluded from the results The Virginia Electric and Power Company has of this exercise that adequate communication tinks exist and response agencies understand the emergency action levels.
In addition, local tnd state police were tested as an additional component to the exercise.
Attached to this letter is a report or the exercise.
In this report we identify 19 items of varying significance that were discussed during the critique held at the conclusion of the exercise. A status report on the disposition of these items is due to be issued by the station on August 15, 1981. The items of significance that concern communications protocol and techniques, operator training, and procedure modifications are the subject of a training session due to be held at the site the week of August 10, 1981.
