On July 20, 1981, your office was informed that the 3B Low Pressure Injection (LPI) Pump was electrically-inoperable. This constitutes operation less conservative than the least conservative aspect of a LCO. Reportable Occurrence Report RO-287/81-15, providing details of this incident was to have been submitted to you by August 3, 1981, pursuant to Technical Specification

6. 6. 2.1. a (2). However, the investigation of this incident and the preparation of a report are incomplete at this time.

It is expected that the investigation and report will be completed, reviewed, and submitted to you no later than August 17, 1981.
