- " / G Stop Work Order on Safety-Related Weldinq On April 11, 1980, pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e), Houston Lighting
- Power Company notified your office of a stop work order issued on safety-related welding at the South Texas Project (STP) site.
Previous reports transmitted to your office in response to Show Cause Item 3(a), requests for restart activities and interim reports on this 10CFRSO.55(e) iten have identified the technical evaluations and basis of the corrective actions beitg implemented.
This letter is intended to be our final report concerning this 10CFR50.55(e) item since normal production AWS welding is progressing as authorized by your letter of January 5,1981 and the latest ASME limited restart welding program is progressing as authorized by your letter of July 10, 1981.
We will continue to inform your office of our plans to extend the ASME welding program prior to implementation.
