4 HYDRAULIC SNUBBERS - LICENSE AMENDMENT APPLICATION FEE
Dear Mr. Miller:
We have received your July 21, 1981 letter concerning our May 21, 1981 technical specifications change request relating to hydraulic snubbers for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Unit Nos. I and 2.
Carolina Power &
Light Company (CP&L) had determined that our submittal was exempt from license amendment application fees since it resulted from a written Commission request.
However, your letter stated that the request resulted from safety concerns based on recent operating experience. This determination requires one Class III fee of $4,000 and one Class I fee of $400 for the Brunswick units.
Accordingly, CP&L is herewith remitting $4,400 in payment of these fees.
