Dear Mr. Denton:

Tha licenning of Unita 2 and 3 of the San Onofra Nualcar Pcucr Plant: ic of grea importance to all of us.

I personally feel tha: it is urgent.

that the license be gran:ed uithout further delay for the foltouing reasons.

1) This is a vital element in the economic environmen and social ue22-being of the State of Catiforni.a.
2) Ccncern abou an adequate suopty of energy that is very critical in meeting the economic and social needs of the Staic of California.
3) 7ne na:icn's continued uce and dependence cn foreign oil as a source of energy coupied with :he instability of the middle east.

I see the imediate licensing of Uni:s 2 and 3 of the San Onofre Nuclear Power ?lants as a part-:.at solution of the long tc.m cncrgy need.~ of :he State of California.

Further reguiascry delays in issu *ng a license vill undcub:edly aid costs :o the consumer, business comunicy, cities and icuns, as ' e22 as State Government.

/

Ynerefo ej any favorabic consideration that can be given to help eapedite

he licensing of the nuclear power Lants by the Commission uculd be creactu apprecia:ed.
