Dear Bernie:

With reference to your letter to the service list in 50-322 dated June 22, 1981, I would like to reopen the question of the location for the ACRS subcommittee meeting for Shoreham. You will recall that this meeting was originally scheduled to be held at the Holiday Inn in Riverhead, N.Y., but that it was subsequently relocated to Washington, D.C. In view of the significant delay in the time of this meeting and what I perceive to be substantial interest in the ACRS review here on Long Island, I would like to formally request that the ACRS meeting be relocated to the Holiday Inn in Riverhead when a date for such meeting is established.

If you believe I must take further steps to effectuate this request, I would appreciate your advising me of that in the near future.

Docket No. 50-322 Ladies and Gentlemen:

My letter of May 18, 1981, advised that the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) subcommittee meeting for the Shoreham Nuclear Station would be held on July 21, 1981, at the Holiday Inn in Riverhead, New York.

This letter is to advise you that the ACRS meeting in question has been relocated to Washington, D.C. (See 46 Fed. Reg. 31801-2; June 17,1981).

The date of the meeting remains the same.
