Dear Mr. Denton:
My letter of April 3, 1981 addressed how McGuire Nuclear Station complied with certain NRC. emergency preparedness requirements. This letter also stated that evacuation time estimates would be revised utilizing the criteria described in Appendix 4 to NUREG-0654, FEMA-REP-1, Revision 1 and would be incorporated into the McGuire Emergency Plan by August 3, 1981. Please be advised that the actual work involved in determining the revised evacuation time estimates has been completed. However it will be several weeks before the information is in final form for inclusion in the McGuire Emergency Plan.
It is oor intention to revise the McGuire Emergency Plan and submit this information to NRC by August 21, 1981.
