1. PoA asse This is to inform the Commission that a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of a. Civil Penalty in the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars will be issued on or about July 28, 1981, to Georgia Power Company.

This action is based on two alleged violations relating to the operation of the E. I.

Hatch Nuclear Plant, Unit 2 for 10 days in excess of a Technical Sper.ification Limiting Condition for Operation as a consequence of isolating the igh dry-well pressur switches from primary containment.

A news release has been prepared and will be issued about the time the licensee receives the Notice.

The State of Georgia will be notified.

It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the enforcement action.
