l Colt Industries Fairbanks Morse Engine Division Docket No. 99900300/81-01 NOTICE OF VIOLATION As a result of the inspection conducted on May 18-21, 1981, and in accordance with the Interim Enforcement Policy, 45 FR 66754 (October 7, 1980), the follow-ing violation was identified:
l Paragraph 21.6 of Title 10, Part 21, of the Code of Federal Regulations, states in part, "Each individual partnership, corporation or other entity subject to the regulations in this part, shall post current copies of the following documents in a conspicuous position on any premises, within the United States where the activities sebject to this part are conducted (1) the regulations in this part, (2) Section 206 of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, and (3) procedures adopted pursuant to the regulations in this 4
part.
"If posting of the regulations in this part or the procedures adopted pursuant to the regulations in this part is not pr&cticable... in addition to posting section 206, post a notice which describes the regulations / procedures, including i
the name of the individual to whom reports may be made, and states where they may be examined."
i Contrary to the above:
Current copies of 10 CFR Part 21 had not been posted in the following a.
locations:
(1) Quality Assurance Department, (2) Engineering Build-ing, (3) Medium Engine Building, and (4) roundry.
The posted copies were identified as:
Federoi Register, Volume 42, No. 108, dated June 6, 1977.

Posting had not been accomplished in a conspicious position in the i
Foundry.
Posting was located in the locked darkroom on a peg behind several documents.
Posting of 10 CFR Part 21, Section 206 of the Energy Reorganization c.
Act of 1974, adopted procedure or notice had not been accomplished in the large Engine Building.
This is a Severity Level VI Violation (Supplement II).
