This refers to our report issued for the inspection activities performed
by our Resident Reactor Inspector, Mr. A. B. Beach, during the period
April and May 1981, of activities authorized by the NRC Construction Per-
mit CPPR-145 for River Bend, Unit 1.
The enclosed pages should be substituted in place of paragraph 3 of our-
report to you dated June 5,1981. The specific changes involve the
potential reportable construction deficiency related to the hydrodynamic
forces in the suppression pool referred to on page 4 of that report.
