With your letter dated March 10, 1981, your company paid a Class II fee i
of $1,200 for an application dated February 23, 1981, which was filed with the Office of Huclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review. The application requested an extension of the implementation date set forth 3
in the USHRC's Order dated January 9,1981, relating to' the Cooper Scram Discharge System.
On March 18, 1981, the ONRR staff completed their review of your request.
Based on information provided to us by the ONRR staff as a result of their final review of your request, it has now been determined that this request results from the January 9 Order. On this basis, an exemption pursuant to 10 CFR 170.ll(b) from the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170.22 is authorized by law, and such exemption is otherwise in the public interest and is hereby granted for your application dated February 23,1981. Therefore, we have l
concurrently authorized the Office of the Controller to refund to your

company the $1,200 paid for this application.
Refunds are generally processed by the Office of the Controller within a two-week period.
