Pursuant to the-Freedom of Information Act, 5 USC, Section 552, and 10 C.F.R. Section 9.8, we request that you send us copies of the fcllowing documents (the term " documents" means any writing, however produced or reproduced, such as notes, tests, reports, de-signs, diagrams, correspondence, interagency or intra-agency mem-orarda, investigatory records , testimony, minutes of meetings, etc.) :

s (1) All documents sent to or received from the Babcock & Wilcox Company ("B & W") , Florida Power Corporation ("FPC"), the Nuclear Regulatory Commission or its predecessor, the Atomic Energy Com-mission, which relate to, comment on or evidence the following:

a) the design and integrity of the core conponents of the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Plant (" Crys tal River") and the adequacy thereof, at the pre and post-licensing stages, b)- the design and integrity of the burnable poison rod assemblies and fuel assemblies (as used in this letter the terms burnable poison red assemblies and fuel assemblies mean each such as-sembly in its entirety and each and every part thereof) sup-plied by B & W at Crystal River and the adequacy thereof at the pre and post-licensing stages and any post-licensing changes in the design of such assemolies proposed or considered by B & W and the reasons therefor, c) the design and integrity of the burnable poison rod assembliec and the fuel . assemblies supplied by B & W at any nuclear facility other than Crystal River and the adequacy thereof at the pre and post-licensing stages and any post-licensing changes in the de-sign of such assemblies proposed or considered by B & W, and the ,
