Re: Nina Mile Point Unit 2 Docket No. 50-410 Your April 9,1981 I.E.Bulletin 81-02 requested Niagara Mohawk to determine if certain gate type valves will be used or maintained as spares for use in safety related systems.
In response, for the balance of plant scope of supply, none of the valves identified in the Bulletin are being purchased for use or maintained as spares for use in Nine Mile Point Unit 2.
The review of the nuclear steam system supply equipment has not been completed. The review will be completed and the requested information submitted to you by September l
1, 1981.
Per your request, approximately twelve (12) manhours have been spent to date in the review and preparation of the infonnation required by this l
Bulletin.
