Shoreham Review Schedule As discussed with Mr. McCaffrey during a phone conversation on July 8,1981, we have agreed to defer issuance of Supplement No.1 to the Shoreham Safety Evaluation Report. This action is due to the large number of issues that have not been resolved. Our current estimate is of the order of 41 issues.
A series of meetings will be held at the Bethesda office with your staff during the week of July 13, 1981 to discuss and resolvs many of these issues.
We also understand that you will be providing additional information requested by the staff during July and August in accordance with an earlier phone conversation on July 6,1981.
I urge you to give these matters your personal attention so that they may be resolved promptly. Based upon an assessment of the issues and informatio::
needs, we will subsequently establish a schedule for the issuance of the SSER and ACRS meeting.
If you have any questions on this matter, please contact Jerry N. Wilson, the Shoreham Project Manager.
