Dear Mr. Clark:
Omaha Public Power District's letter to the Commission dated January 6, 1981, endorsed the EPRI sponsored safety and power cperated relief valve testing program. This prograin was initiated in response to NUREG-0737, Task II.D.1, and the District is participating in it. The letter to the Commission from R. C. Youngdahl (Consumers Power) dated December 15, 1980, detailed EPRI's schedule for the generic testing program. This schedule has been modified as explained in the R. C.
Youngdahl letter to th~e Comission dated July 1,1981.
Omaha Public Power District will submit evaluations and plant specific data on a schedule consistent with the R. C. Youngdahl letter of December 15, 1980, and as modified on July 1, 1981. The July 1, 1981, letter also forwards the Interim Data Report for the EPRI PWR safety and relief valve test program.
This report summarizes the test data collected to date on relief and safety valves.
