ADEQUATE MINIMutt FLOW THROUGH CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS (IEB 80-18)
The additional information in your letter of April 20, 1981, is sufficient to resolve our concerns on the adequacy of the centrifugal pump flows and to recomrnend that you comply with IE Bulletin 80-18 for Sequoyah Units 1 and 2.
The actions tden under this Bulletin are interim, but appropriate, until final modifications can be accomplished.
For your information further guidance is being prepared on this matter which will be sent to all licensees and applicants with prenurized water reactors.
