Dear Mr. Grier:
The following information completes our response to IE Bulletin 80-21,
" Valve Yokes Supplied by Malcols Foundry Company, Inc."
IE Bulletin actions to be taken (CP) :
1.
Malcolm Foundry Company, Inc. supplied 156 yokes to Anchor-Darling Valve Company for use at Susquehanna SES of which 114 are on active valves.
In addition, the follcwing valve parts furnished to Anchor-Darling were also cast by Malcolm Foundry.

Not applicable to Susquehanna SES.

All 156 valve yokes will be replaced.
In addition, the 2 disk skirts and 4 disk skirt nuts will also be replaced.
The remaining parts will not be replaced since they were specified to be cast from commercial steel and are not essential to valve safety functions. All defective parts are scheduled for replacement by October, 1981, in accordance with Bechtel NCR 5980.
Estimated manpower expended on IE Bulletin 80-21:
